Heroes

Pull them from the Lootbox, then assign one to a Rig with !assign. A Hero adds a percentage to that Rig's output, and its Skill decides which Rig it belongs on.

Skills

A Hero's Skill is what it does, and it does it only on the Rig you assign it to.

Hauler+1h Storage on that Rig2
Rigger-8% upgrade time on that Rig3
Broker+0.03 to the Field multiplier floor3
Prospector+10% !scan yield3

What actually binds first: you can field 3 Heroes at Miner Level 9, and one Rig's Heroes add up to at most +100%.

Hero Levels

A Hero starts at Hero Level 1 and climbs to 3. Every Level makes its bonus bigger. You feed it duplicates and Hero Shards, and there is nothing to buy -- a Hero's Level is earned. A Hero you already own is never a wasted pull.

Voidborn+26%+4.0%+34.0%
Legend+45%+5.0%+55.0%

Stacked bonuses on one Rig top out at +100%. A Legend on the right Rig is worth roughly a Rig Level and a half on its own.

Hero Shards

Duplicates become Shards, and Shards buy Heroes outright with no luck involved. If the box will not give you a Legend, 1,200 Shards will. The other way to get Shards in bulk is a Mission.

A Space is a Hero you have out working. More Spaces, more bonuses running at once.
