Castlevania: Belmont’s Curse locks an October date — and Switch players won’t be left out
Here’s a nice surprise in a year full of launch window guesswork: Konami just confirmed that *Castlevania: Belmont’s Curse* is landing on Nintendo Switch the same day as everything else — October 15, 2026. No staggered release, no “coming later” footnote. Day one on Switch, full stop.
That matters because last month’s announcement rolled out a multi-platform date without the Switch logo in the initial art, which had people (rightfully) sharpening their pitchforks. Konami heard the noise and put the rumor to rest: Switch is in the launch lineup from the jump.
*Belmont’s Curse* is the new 2.5D action-platformer that’s been getting serious goodwill from the reveal trailers — classic whip-and-subweapon combat, interconnected map, that gothic atmosphere people actually missed during the series’ quiet years.
If you’ve been waiting to pull the trigger on a pre-order or just wanted to know whether your Switch would collect dust while everyone else played, you’ve got your answer. October 15. Mark it.
