GTA 6’s Fall 2025 Window Just Got Another Nail in the Wall — In a Good Way
Every time a big game’s release date floats out there without a delay announcement for more than a few months, the industry holds its breath. For GTA 6 — the most anticipated game in maybe a decade — that breath has been held since last year. Today, Take-Two Interactive put out another quarterly earnings report, and buried in the usual corporate language was the exact same sentence they’ve been running with: GTA 6 is still on track for November 19, 2025.
That might not sound like news. But in an era where almost every AAA game slips by at least a quarter, and where GTA 6’s budget and scope are so massive that any sane person would expect a delay, the fact that Take-Two keeps saying “same date, no problem” is genuinely notable. They’re not hedging. They’re not softening the language. They’re just repeating the date like it’s normal.
It’s not normal. That’s why this matters. Rockstar has historically moved launch windows around (remember when GTA V was supposed to come out in spring and landed in September?). The fact that fall 2025 keeps sticking suggests either they’re absurdly confident, or they’ve built enough buffer into the schedule that even a hiccup won’t blow the window. Either way, for now, mark November 19 on your calendar. Just don’t ink it in permanent marker yet.
